NCB: Drug Chats Between Ananya Pandey & Aryan Khan
Shahrukh Khan visited son in the jail and NCB summoned Ananya Pandey in the drug case.
Aryan Khan, 23, who has been in jail for 14 days, was denied bail by a special court in Mumbai on 20th October. The court said that though no drugs were found on Aryan Khan, he knew about six grams of charas hidden in his friend Arbaaz Merchant's shoe. They have been friends for a long time. They travelled together and they were caught together. The special court also said that his WhatsApp chats appeared to reveal his involvement in illicit drug activities. The court said, “If Aryan Khan is given bail he may take drugs and contact drug peddlers. This is why his bail has been rejected.” Aryan has now approached the Bombay High Court. The Bombay High court will take up his request on Tuesday 26th October. Till then Aryan will remain in jail.
On 21st October morning, Shah Rukh Khan visited Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail to meet with his son Aryan for the first time since his arrest. SRK spent around 20 minutes at the jail and left without saying anything to the media, just folding his hands before driving off. SRK and Gauri Khan had also spoken with their son on a video call last week.
After the superstar visited his son Aryan Khan in jail, a Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team visited Shah Rukh Khan's Mumbai home "Mannat' in Bandra. The news about the NCB raiding SRK’s house went viral. However, NCB said it "was not a raid" and was meant only for paperwork.
Another news that had gone viral was that the NCB raided actress Ananya Pandey’s home who is the daughter of actor Chunky Pandey. Ananya is a close friend of Aryan Khan. They had gone to Ananya’s home as they had found some chats between her and Aryan related to drugs on whatsapp. The NCB was captured leaving Ananya's house with several bags in their possession. So far, the NCB hasn't said what exactly was recovered from the house. The NCB had summoned the actress, daughter of actor Chunky Pandey, for questioning at the agency's Mumbai office yesterday and she was questioned for 2 hours. She has again been called for questioning today.
