NCB Finds Link Between Rhea’s Brother Drug Dealers

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested a drug dealer who has links to Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty.

On 2nd September reports said that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) which is investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case in connection to drugs has found that Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty was in touch with a drug dealer. 20-year-old Zaid Vilatra was arrested on 2nd September. He has revealed details about his drug business to NCB. A report in India Today claimed that Showik gave Zaid’s contact details to Samuel Miranda in March.  Samuel was Sushant’s house manager. Showik told Samuel to pay Rs. 10,000 to Zaid for 5g of drugs.

When Zaid was strictly questioned by the NCB, Zaid admitted that he received the amount. NCB said that Zaid ran a food joint in Bandra but his business suffered a lot during the lockdown NCB said, “He revealed that he sells drugs for which he earns a good amount of money.” When NCD arrested Zaid they found $2,081, £180, 15 dirhams, and Rs. 9, 55,750 from Zaid. This is the money that he earned through his drug business. While questioning Zaid, they found information about Basith Parihar. Parihar is another drug dealer. 

A report said that NCB has the chats between Parihar and Showik pertaining to cannabis. It also said that Parihar was in touch with Sushant’s manager Samuel as well. In TV interviews last week, Rhea claimed she has never consumed drugs and was ready for a blood test. She said that he asked Sushant to stop but he did not listen and smoked up weed. The NCB will soon question Rhea and her brother Showik.
