Mumbai Biker Arrested For His Viral Motorcycle Stunt

A Mumbai man was arrested for performing dangerous stunts on streets with two women pillion riders. His video went viral.

Social activist Mushtaq Ansari often puts several videos of bikers performing dangerous stunts on the streets of Mumbai without any protective gear.  On 30th March 2023, he posted a video of a bike stunt on his Twitter account in which a biker was carrying two girls on his bike, one sitting pillion and other one sitting facing him on the fuel tank while performing dangerous stunts in the BKC area of Mumbai. None of them were wearing helmets. The man then did a wheelie’ stunt. 

Ansari tagged The Mumbai police in the video. The police immediately registered a case against the biker and the 2 girls. Upon investigation, it is found that the video is from December 2022. Based on the registration number of the bike, the police team identified the accused as 24 year old Faiyaz Qadri, a resident of Antop Hill area of Mumbai. The police found that the accused Qadri had two offences registered against him in the past. He had also been externed from city limits for a year. 

After Qadri came to know that the police were looking for him, he kept changing his location. Eventually, on 2nd April 2023, based on technical intelligence, the police found he was in the Saki naka area. The police team reached Saki Naka and arrested him. Police said efforts to identify and trace the two women are going on.
