PM Modi for the first time will feature in Discovery Channel’s Man vs Wild show with ace adventurer Bear Grylls.

The Discovery channel's Man vs. Wild is a show about surviving in adverse situations. The anchor of the show is Bear Grylls. In this TV show, Bear goes to unexplored areas and teaches people what to do if they were stuck in the wild. He is famous for going to remote locations such as hot desserts, dangerous jungles, far away islands, etc  He has no help in such places. He roams around in such dangerous areas and teaches people how to remain safe, how to cook food and how to create shelter for themselves, etc.

The show will release a special episode featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The show will premiere on 12th August on Discovery India. The show was shot in Uttarakhand's Jim Corbett National Park in February. Bear said that the show will reveal a side of PM Modi that no one has ever seen before.

A small trailer of the video was released. In the video Bear and PM Modi can be seen walking around the national park to raise awareness regarding the conservation of animals. In the video Bear told Modi that "You are the most important man in India. My job is to keep you alive." PM Modi and Grylls had to build a raft to cross a jungle river. PM Modi said that he agreed to be a part of the show to show the world India’s beautiful forests. He wants the world to understand the importance of saving the nature and animals.

Earlier Former American President Barack Obama and Tennis legend Roger Federer have also been part of this show. Bear said that  said he feels "honored" that he got to spend time with such a "remarkable world leader" like PM Modi.

However many are not happy with this as the show was shot on 14th February 2019. This was the day the Pulwama attacks took place. Many are angry because the day they were shooting a video, 40 jawans lost their lives and PM Modi continued shooting. The government said that PM Modi received information regarding the attacks late due to poor network, this is why he took time to return to Delhi.
