Man With Hearing Loss Finds Earbud Stuck After 5 Years

One elderly British man was stunned when he got his hearing back. Well, the details of the story will shock anyone and everyone. The man regained his hearing capacity after a doctor removed an earbud from his ear. The earbud had been in his ear for five long years. Yes, you heard that right. Wallace Lee, who is a 66 year's old man from Weymouth in Dorset, thought his loss of hearing was resultant of his old rugby injuries or his career in the aviation industry. However, his beliefs changed when he saw a small white object in his ear with the help of a home endoscope kit. He then decided to seek medical help.
On consulting a doctor, he discovered that there was an old earbud stuck inside his ear. "The doctor tried to suck it out at first, but it wouldn't move at all because it had been in there that long with the buildup of hard ear wax. Finally, after performing a couple of other medical procedures, the doctors were able to pull out the earbud from his ear. The old man then stated that he got his hearing back as soon as the object was removed.“The fog that was in my head for all those years went and left, and I could hear perfectly well, " he said. Further, Lee stated that the object might have gone inside his years during a flight journey abroad. Five years ago, when he was visiting my family in Australia, he bought these little earplugs that you can put different attachments in, depending on the noise you want to phase out on an aircraft. One of these little attachments had lodged in there and it had been in there ever since, he said.
