Man Takes 130 KM Helicopter Ride to Eat Favourite Sandwich

During the lockdown imposed due to the pandemic, there were many people who missed eating their favourite food as all shops were closed. This is why many came up with crazy ideas to get their favourite food. Sometime back there was a woman from the UK who drove 160 KM to eat a McDonald’s burger.  She was later fined by police authorities for undertaking 'non-essential' travel amid the pandemic. And now, another news has surfaced which proves that people who love to eat will do anything. Chipping Farm Shop, a UK-based farm shop selling organic, farm-fresh food, shared a video on social media. They are known for their bakery products which keeps customers coming back. The clip showed a man on a helicopter who was hand-delivered the order by the staff. He took the order and flew away in the chopper. He flew 130km to their eatery via helicopter to get his favourite sandwich through takeaway. Along with the video, they wrote, “When your customers are literally 'flying in' to collect their favourite’. The short clip was viewed over 3.6k times and also received hundreds of comments from users. Councillor Simon Hore, from the Chipping Ward said that the helicopter trip “does seem to be flagrant abuse of the restrictions on travel under the current lockdown rules.
