Man Forcefully Kisses Another Man in Train

A man harassed on a train confronted his harasser and shared the incident online, highlighting safety concerns.

A shocking incident on the Pune-Hatia Express train has gone viral on social media. The incident happened around 4th or 5th March 2025, when a man named Nirmal Mishra was allegedly harassed by another passenger.

Nirmal shared two videos on social media, explaining what happened. He said that a 33-year-old man from Chhattisgarh touched and kissed him while he was asleep. The accused also grabbed his buttocks and touched him inappropriately. When Nirmal confronted him, the man shamelessly said he "liked it."

In the video, the accused kept looking at the camera without any shame, while his wife tried to defend him. Nirmal turned the camera to show the people around and asked, "If this had happened to a woman, would you still say 'let it go'?" He also questioned, "If this happened to your wife, would you forgive him?"

The video showed Nirmal pulling the man out of his seat while the man’s wife begged for forgiveness. In another video, Nirmal was seen hitting the man and warning him that he would hand him over to the police.

Nirmal expressed his frustration, saying that no one supported him during the incident. He also claimed that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) did not take the matter seriously because both he and the accused were men. He pointed out that the crowd seemed to support the accused, possibly because he was traveling with his wife.

Nirmal said, "This is the reality. If even men are not safe on trains, how can women be expected to feel safe?"

Despite the lack of support during the incident, many people on social media praised Nirmal for speaking up and confronting the harasser. One user commented, "This is so sad. Look at him, shamelessly staring at the camera! People like this should not be allowed to roam freely." Another wrote, "Sometimes, you have to take matters into your own hands." A third user said, "Such a shameless man, standing there like nothing happened—no guilt, no regret. And his wife is in such a helpless situation. Kudos to you for standing up for your rights!"

This incident has raised serious questions about safety on trains and the need for stricter actions against harassment.
