Man Buys Porsche with Fake Cheque

A man was arrested in Florida, USA for issuing a fake cheque to buy a luxury Porsche car.

A 42-year-old man was arrested in Florida, USA in July. Casey William Blake printed a fake cheque mimicking his original cheque from his bank. He put in a random amount He wrote $1,30,203 on the cheque which is approximately Rs 1 crore. He printed the cheque from his home computer and then he walked into a Porsche showroom. He presented the cheque and the salesperson sold him the Porsche 911 Turbo. Casey even posted a picture of himself with the car on Social Media. Since Casey was able to buy such an expensive car with a fake cheque, he became very confident and drove the car to Miramar Beach, Florida and went to a jewellery store. 

At the Jewellery store, Casey purchased 3 luxury rolex watches.  He again gave the store a fake cheque worth $61,521. However, this time Casey was not that lucky as the Jewellery store kept the watches until they could verify the watches. On 30th July, the store realised the cheque was fake and placed a complaint.  By then even the Porsche dealership realised the cheque was fake and even they filed a complaint. Casey was arrested and is now in Jail. He confessed that the cheque was fake but the account number is real.
