All over the world there were rumours that North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un was critical and would die soon. He was last seen in public on April 11.Many thought that Kim was brain dead and would die very soon. However on friday 1st May, he made his first public appearance.Kim inaugurated a fertilizer company at Sunchon, not far away from the capital Pyongyang. The North Korean Central Television broadcast images, which have gone viral on social media.
On seeing him, the attendees burst into cheers of "hurrah". Kim looked healthy, happy and was smoking in the latest pictures. He gave a speech as well. In one image, he was seen cutting a ribbon as the country's top officials stood by his side. Kim's sister, Kim Yo-jong, who was speculated to succeed him in case of his death, was also present there.Regarding Kim’s appearance President Donald Trump said, “"I'd rather not comment on it yet. We'll have something to say about it at the appropriate time” North Korea is a very secretive country. The images were released by their own news channel which is fully controlled by the government. There is no way to prove whether the images are real or fake.
