West Indies and Sri Lanka are playing a 3 match T20 series. The first match was being played at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua on (4th March) Thursday. West Indies were chasing a target of 132 runs. In the 4th over of the West Indies batting, Sri Lanka spinner Akila Dananjaya claimed a brilliant hat-trick. He was on cloud nine after the hattrick, but in his next over, West Indies superstar cricketer Kieron Pollard hit 6 sixes in the over.

With the 6 sixes in an over, Pollard has become just the third batsman in international cricket to hit 6 sixes in an over. Pollard became the second batsman to achieve the feat in T20Is. The first one was Yuvraj Singh who had smashed England's Stuart Broad for six in an over in the 2007 T20 World Cup. While Herschelle Gibbs was the first to do it in 2007 Cricket World Cup ODI against Netherlands in 2007. West Indies were in a spot at 62 for 4 but Pollard’s six sixes in an over,  turned the match around. West Indies were able to win the match in 13.1 over and beat Sri Lanka by 4 wickets.  West Indies now lead the 3 match T20 series by 1-0
