Katrina Kaif Contributes for Daily Wage Workers

Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif’s beauty brand Kay Beauty along with the De’Haat Foundation have partnered to help daily wage workers in Maharashtra. Watch the video for all the details.

The number of infected people in India with Covid-19 upto 24 th April 2020 was more than 21,000. Lockdown has been announced by the government since 24 th March 2020 to fight the pandemic. The daily wage workers are the most affected as they do not have jobs due to the lockdown. Government and many others like businessmen, film personalities, sports persons etc have come forward to help people in these difficult times.

Katrina Kaif has her own beauty brand named, Kay Beauty. Through her brand Kay Beauty she has partnered with De’haat Foundation to help the daily wage workers in Bhandara district of Maharashtra. 

She has pledged her contribution for providing food and sanitation needs of the daily wage workers. Katrina Kaif in her Instagram Story wrote that it has been a ‘tough month for all of us but it is amazing to see the efforts of people. She also wrote that many people are suffering during this time, but there are some who are suffering more. Earlier in 2019, Kay Beauty and De’haat had partnered to provide support to employment for rural women.
