Journalist Rohit Sardana & Actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal Pass Away

Famous TV journalist Rohit Sardana and actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal succumb to Covid-19.

The second wave of the COVID-19 situation has proved to be more fatal than anyone could have ever imagined. The daily death toll is creating a stress-induced situation with reports of many people, celebrities losing their lives to COVID-19. All we want is a day where there are no death reports. Renowned TV journalist Rohit Sardana succumbed to the deadly COVID-19 infection on 30th April. The untimely and shocking demise of Rohit Sardana has left the media world in a state of utter shock. He was 41. Sardana's colleagues said that he died of cardiac arrest while he was also COVID-19 infected at the same time.  

Sardana had worked for many years in Zee News. In Zee News he hosted the famous show ‘Taal Thok Ke', a debate programme. In 2017 he joined Aaj Tak. Since then, he was hosting the debate show ''Dangal.'' Sardana was a recipient of the 2018 Ganesh Vidyarthi Puraskar Award. He was among the most popular faces of TV news journalism in India. As the news of Sardana's death spread, condolences started pouring in on social media. PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala too expressed their deepest condolences 

On 1st May, a popular TV and film actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passed away due to COVID-19 complications. Bikramjeet Kanwarpal breathed his last at the age of 52. Bikramjeet was a part of the Indian Army and post-retirement, tried his luck in acting and became a known face with time. He made his acting debut in 2003. He has been a part of many popular films, TV shows and web series. He starred in films like Page 3, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Aarakshan, Murder 2, 2 States and many others. He was last seen in Disney Plus Hotstar’s popular web series Special Ops. After news of Bikramjeet Kanwarpal’s demise emerged online, celebrities took to social media to mourn the demise.
