Is Sania Mirza & Shoaib Malik Getting Divorced?

A lot of reports on social media have reported that former Indian Tennis Player Sania Mirza & her Pakistani Husband Shoaib Malik might get divorced soon.

Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik are one of the most popular sporting couples who found love across borders and are one of the most talked about couples in both countries. However, their relationship is under the spotlight as there have been a lot of reports of the couple heading towards separation. To start with, let us tell you that, The couple met in Australia for the first time. After dating for five months, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik got married in 2010. During that time, Malik was on a  12-month ban by the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) and Mirza was witnessing bad form in her career. Their decision was slammed as impulsive and rash by many people, attracting obvious controversies. Mirza had once responded by saying that, “People can date a person for years but break up as soon as they get married. Some people can date each other for a month and get married. We were lucky we found each other, decided quickly and felt the same way about one another."

Having undergone a surgery, Sania Mirza took a break from playing tennis in 2017, which she later extended. Malik and Mirza announced that they were expecting a child. The couple were blessed with a son, Izhaan Mirza-Malik, in October 2018. The two sports people faced a lot of social media criticism. Sania Mirza was questioned whether she was planning to change her nationality. However, recently, Sania shared a cryptic post on her Instagram story where she wrote "Where do broken hearts go? To find Allah." The post about broken hearts and hard times have triggered concerns around the couple heading for separation. In Pakistan, it is reported that Sania and Shoaib are living apart and co-parenting their child Izhaan. These reports fueled the rumour a little more. Reports also claim that infidelity could be the reason behind the rumoured split. However, both Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik are yet to respond to the reports.
