Indian Government Takes Control After J&K Attack

The Pulwama attacks has severely strained the Indo-Pak relationship. The Indian government has demanded Pakistan to stop supporting terrorism or face the consequences.

The death of 42 jawans in the Pulwama district of Kashmir, shook the country to its core. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his anger saying that there is a fire burning in his heart he will make sure the jawans get justice.

The Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) is a Pakistani group that they planned and organised this attack. The Indian Government said that Pakistan has a big role in these attacks as they had information about this group. The government of India cancelled Pakistan’s MNF status. MNF means most favoured nation. MNF nations receive many trade benefits. By cancelling Pakistan’s MNF status India will impose many restrictions on the import of goods from Pakistan

India has also withdrawn the security provided to the Hurriyat leaders. The All Parties Hurriyat Conference is a political party that wants Kashmir to be separated from India. Former Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) Chief Vikram Sood said that said that this attack could not be planned by one single man. It is actually planned and carried out by a big group.

Even after these deadly attacks, the CRPF jawans were guarding the Pakistan High Commission. A CRPF jawan said that he is very angry, but his duty is above his emotions. The entire country protested the attacks. People in London and Australia as well carried out protests.
