India Donates 15,000 Bicycles to Madagascar

India has donated 15,000 bicycles to Madagascar on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of its Independence on Monday, 15th of August.

Earlier we released a news update about the hashtag “Boycott Lal Singh Chaddha” which was trending on various social media platforms, because of Aamir Khan’s anti-Hindu statements and films which were released in the last few years. Because of the hashtag, Lal Singh Chaddha starring Kareena Kapoor along with Aamir Khan faced a huge loss after theaters for the shows of the film were seen almost empty in different parts of the country. Even after 6 days of release the film starring two of Bollywood's biggest stars, Aamir and Kareena even failed to collect 50 Crores. The film performed low in its first 5 days at the box office and earned just Rs 45.83 Cr India net.

However, Twitter users are currently obsessed with boycotting Bollywood movies. After Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha faced a huge backlash. The weird thing is that Twitter users have also started calling for boycotting Hrithik Roshan after he gave a shout-out to Aamir Khan's movie. After watching the film in theaters, Hrithik Roshan posted an appreciation tweet on his Twitter account which says  "Just watched Laal Singh Chaddha. I felt the HEART of this movie. Pluses and minuses aside, this movie is just magnificent. Don't miss this gem guys! Go! Go now. Watch it. It's beautiful. Just beautiful",

As soon as he tweeted for the film, ‘boycott Vikram Vedha’ started trending on Twitter.

If you don't already know, “Vikram Vedha” is a film directed by Filmmaker Pushkar and Gayathri which stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. The film is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film “Vikram Vedha” which was released in 2017. The original film featured R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi as lead actors.

However, Hrithik's tweet supporting Aamir Khan’s “Lal Singh Chaddha” has surely made Twitter users unhappy. Replying to Hrithik’s tweet One user wrote: “This tweet has sealed the fate of his upcoming movie which is a remake of Vikram Veda. #BoycottVikramVeda." Another one said, “You should not have done this. Instead of focusing on your film, you are trying to support others. Now get ready to face the consequences. Vikram Vedha will be the next target."

What do you think? Will Hrithik Roshan's upcoming film face similar consequences to Lal Singh Chaddha? Do mention your thoughts in the comment section below.
