India has won the T20I series against Australia. Australia won the third and final T20I against India by 12 runs on 8th Dec, Tuesday at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). It was an interesting and close battle between two teams in this series. Over the course of the three games, there was plenty on offer.

Here we present the key takeaways.

1. Many people were questioning whether it was right to include Sanju Samson in the Indian cricket team for matches against Australia. The BCCI has backed Sanju, however, in the 3 T20s with Australia, he scored just 48 runs, Samson failed to deliver. 

2. T Natarajan was an exceptional bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 season and made his debut for India in the third ODI against Australia. He was the best Indian bowler in the T20I series, having claimed six wickets and conceding very few runs. 

3. Australian Spinners Swepson and Adam Zampa were two key bowlers for Australia.  

4. Due to an injury to Aaron Finch, Matthew Wade opened the second T20I match. Wade was outstanding and batted with a lot of aggression.

5. After the T20I, Hardik Pandya was awarded the Man of the Match trophy. But he gave the trophy to T Natrajan saying that he played really well and deserved the award.
