Girl Bleeds To Death After Sex; Boyfriend Looks For Online Remedies
A woman bleeds to death after sex, while her boyfriend spent hours searching for online remedies instead of seeking urgent medical help.
In a startling incident, a 23-year-old woman bled to death after intercourse while her 26-year-old boyfriend spent hours searching for remedies online. The incident occurred in Gujarat’s Navsari. According to the reports, the unnamed woman was a first-year nursing student & had met the unnamed man 3 years ago. They were in a relationship for 1 year, after which they broke up and had not been in contact for 2 years. However, the couple reconnected on social media around 7 months ago in March 2024.
On 23rd September 2024, the couple checked into a hotel room to engage in sex. During sexual activity, the woman started bleeding heavily from the vagina but despite stopping the man allegedly tried to engage in sex continuously. When the bleeding didn’t stop, the man tried to use a cloth to stop the bleeding but it didn’t make any difference.Instead of calling an ambulance & rushing the woman to the hospital, the man spent 60-90 minutes on his phone to search for remedies. The woman eventually fainted as a result of heavy blood loss.
The man called one of his friends and asked him to reach the hotel to help him. Meanwhile, the man cleaned the blood stains in the hotel room till the time his friend reached. They both took the girl to the Navsari Civil hospital in a private car. The man also called & informed the woman’s parents from the car on the way to the hospital but when they arrived at the hospital, the doctors pronounced the girl dead at around 2:15 pm. The girl’s postmortem report read that she died because of grave injuries in her private parts, vaginal tearing, and heavy blood loss.
The Gujarat Police have arrested the boyfriend for culpable homicide (not amounting to murder), destruction of evidence and negligence, as he didn't take her to the hospital on time and instead wasted hours trying to stop the bleeding with online remedies. The police found “what to do to cease blood during intercourse” in the boyfriend's mobile phone search history. The Gujarat Police will reconstruct the fateful day. They are also checking which evidence was destroyed by the boyfriend to escape arrest and investigating the hotel where the incident occurred.
