Faridabad Teacher Stabbed to Death 27 Times Inside School Premises: Video Goes Viral
Haryana teacher Sandhya was brutally stabbed to death inside her school by a former student who allegedly wanted revenge.
A shocking murder inside a private school in Haryana's Faridabad has left the country stunned.
On 3 August 2026, 29-year-old teacher Sandhya, wife of Vikas and mother of two children, was brutally stabbed to death. The entire incident was captured on the school's CCTV cameras.
Sandhya worked at Saraswati Senior Secondary School in Sikrona village. She arrived at school as usual that morning.
Around 9:30–9:40 AM, 21-year-old Amit entered the school with his face covered by a white cloth. He waited inside for a few minutes before asking the staff to call Sandhya, saying that "Vicky" had come to meet her.
As soon as Sandhya reached the school gate, Amit grabbed her and attacked her with a knife.
He stabbed her 27 times, targeting her face, neck, chest, and abdomen.
The CCTV footage, now viral on social media, shows Sandhya desperately trying to escape while Amit chased her and continued stabbing her. Even after she collapsed, he did not stop.
Hearing the screams, school administrator Tejpal rushed to help and shouted at Amit. However, Amit threatened him with the knife, forcing him to step back. Amit then attacked Sandhya once again before escaping on a motorcycle without a number plate.
Sandhya was rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared her dead.
The incident has raised serious questions about the school's security. No security guard is visible in the CCTV footage, and no one questioned the masked man despite him waiting inside the school for several minutes.
Sandhya's husband, Vikas, filed a police complaint against Amit.
During the investigation, police found that Amit had known Sandhya for about two years when she taught at another private school where he was a student.
Police said Amit had been stalking and harassing Sandhya despite her rejecting him. A few days earlier, she had filed a molestation complaint against him, after which Amit publicly apologised. However, he continued to harass her, and Sandhya warned that she would file another police complaint.
Police believe Amit murdered Sandhya in revenge for those complaints.
A special team from the Anti-Vehicle Theft Squad (AVTS) tracked Amit using CCTV footage and mobile phone data. He was arrested within two hours of the attack.
During questioning, police said Amit confessed to the murder. He is now in police custody and will be produced before a local court.
