Elvish Yadav Arrested in Snake Venom Case, Controversy Continues

Elvish Yadav, a popular YouTuber and the winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, has found himself entangled in a controversy that has rocked his fan base and the online community. Just a few months ago, ISH News released a video uncovering allegations of his involvement in the illegal supply of snake venom at underground parties in the National Capital Region (NCR), specifically Delhi.
Recently, on 17th March 2024, Elvish Yadav was summoned by the Noida Police for questioning regarding his suspected role in the unlawful distribution of snake venom. Despite his initial defiance, Elvish eventually admitted to knowing individuals involved in the distribution of the venom and confessed to using it himself for recreational purposes at these parties. Subsequently, the court ordered his arrest, and he was remanded in judicial custody for 14 days.
Elvish Yadav faces a slew of serious charges, including violations of the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972, criminal conspiracy, negligent conduct endangering human safety with poison, negligent conduct concerning animals, and multiple sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, including prohibition, financing illicit trafficking, and abetment.
Furthermore, startling revelations surfaced from his parents, who disclosed that Elvish had been leading a life of pretense. Contrary to his public persona, he allegedly borrowed luxury cars from acquaintances for temporary use, rented older vehicles for his YouTube videos, and falsely claimed ownership of property in Dubai. His parents revealed that Elvish primarily earned income from his YouTube channel and online sales of apparel.
After spending two days in custody, Elvish was released on bail on 22nd March 2024. However, the investigation into his alleged offenses continues. In a post-release video, he shared his jail experience and expressed gratitude to both his supporters and detractors.
