Drunk Ex-MLA Crashes His BMW into 4 Other Vehicles

In an incident reported from Delhi, an Ex-MLA hit multiple vehicles with his luxury car as he was allegedly drunk.

The news of politicians and their deeds which result in serious harm is not new. However, in one another incident reported from Delhi, an Ex-MLA from BJP hit multiple vehicles with his luxury car as he was allegedly drunk while he was driving. In this incident, A car driven by a former Madhya Pradesh MLA allegedly crashed into 3 more cars before hitting a two-wheeler and injuring 3 people in North Delhi's Geeta Colony Flyover, according to the police report filed on the 7th August, Sunday. 

The incident took place on Saturday night of 6th August. According to the police report, former MLA from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh,  Sunil Jain was driving his super luxury BMW car. Sunil Jain won the MLA election from Sagar in 2008 as an independent candidate. His daughter, who stays in Vivek Vihar is from Delhi and the driver was also in the car at the time of the accident. The driver was sitting in the back seat of the car, as he was unaware of the route. The BMW car first hit a Maruti WagonR, which hit a two-wheeler, then hit a Kia Seltos car, which hit another car. The drivers of the WagonR and the two-wheeler sustained minor injuries and were discharged from the hospital after treatment. Notably, the two-wheeler rider was a woman along with her 6 months old baby, who could have been seriously injured after this massive impact.

The police further noted that a case was registered under  sections 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 337 (causing hurt by an act that endangers human life) of the Indian Penal Code at the Kotwali police station.However, none of the people involved in the accident has filed a complaint against the culprit driver and the police believe that they might have resolved the matter amongst themselves.
