Domestic Flights Will Start After 14 April

Aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that, unless the current lockdown implemented to contain the COVID-19 virus, is further extended, airlines can take domestic bookings after 14 April.

Aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that, unless the current lockdown implemented to contain the COVID-19 virus, is further extended, Airlines can take domestic bookings after 14 April.Speaking to reporters on a video conference, Puri said that any international flights to evacuate Indians stranded abroad will operate only after 14 April, once the current lockdown is lifted. 

After the lockdown is lifted, International flights can start but only on a case by case basis. 

Due to the lockdown, many Airlines have suffered major losses. Around the world where lockdowns are imposed, many countries are helping airlines financially so that they don’t suffer major losses.Many Indian Airlines have requested the government for help. But so far no announcements have been made.
