The couple announced they were pregnant with their first child in February 2024 and shared that the baby was due in September 2024. Deepika & Ranveer shared pictures of their maternity photoshoot on social media on 2nd September 2024. They both visited the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to seek Ganpati Bappa‘s blessings on 6th September 2024. It was also reported that the couple visited Mumbai’s Mount Mary Church for good luck. Deepika was admitted to the H. N. Reliance Hospital in Girgaon, Mumbai surrounded by Ranveer and family members on 7th September 2024. On 8th September 2024, Deepika Padukone gave birth to a baby girl.
