Dayaben Resigns From Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma
A new actress will soon be replacing Disha Vakani to play the role of Daya Ben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Tarak Mehta ka ooltah chashma is surely one of the people’s most favorite shows in India from the last several years. Actress Disha Vakani who earlier used to play the role of Daya ben in the serial was missing from the show almost from the last 3 years after getting married. Earlier the producer of the show Mr Asit Modi while talking to the media said that the actress might return to the shoot anytime soon now. But now to a very sad news Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi claimed that Disha Vakani will never return to the show. Yes, you heard it right, A new actress will soon be replacing Disha Vakani to play the role of Daya Ben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Auditions for the new Daya Ben have also started in full swing. The producer was further asked why it took so long for them to replace Disha. Revealing the reason behind it, Asit said, "After getting married, Disha did work for some time. She then took a break and had a baby and continued her break to raise her child. She never quit the show, and we expected her to return soon. But then the pandemic struck. There were too many restrictions on shooting during that time. Even though we were taking all the necessary precautions, Disha said she was scared to return to shooting."
