Chinese scientists are now saying that the coronavirus originated in India in July-August 2019 when an unbearable heatwave in May-June that year forced animals and humans to drink from the same water sources like rivers, lakes, etc. Chinese newspapers & news channels which are controlled by the government, have been spreading news for many days saying, a number of imported food products from different countries, including a consignment of fish from India, were found to have traces of the COVID-19. Chinese scientists are saying that the COVID-19 virus could have entered China through foreign countries. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian told a media briefing here that “even though China was the first to report coronavirus but doesn't necessarily mean China is where the virus originated”. Experts believe that China is again trying to put the blame of Coronavirus on other countries. The World Health Organisation (WHO) team is going to arrive in China soon to investigate whether the virus started in China or not.
