In another recent incident, Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil, targeting Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Supriya Sule, made a controversial comment "If you don't understand politics, go

We are in the year 2022, and there is hardly any difference seen between a man and a woman. But are we really equal with the sexiest comments which women face everyday on public and personal levels? A political leader in Maharashtra made a shocking comment! Let me tell you. The BJP has been accusing Maharashtra's Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress government of not doing enough for the OBC quota. The Maharashtra government, however, blames the Centre for not providing data and the Supreme Court for not allowing the Maharashtra government to make changes. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Supriya Sule said that in Madhya Pradesh which has BJP government, the Supreme Court allowed OBC quota for local elections but in Maharashtra the SC was not allowing. She said the SC & BJP government are being unfair to Maharashtra. Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil, who along with the party workers were protesting in Mumbai replied to Sule saying, "Why are you even in politics? Just go home and cook. Go to Delhi or to a cemetery, but get us the OBC quota. Despite being a Lok Sabha member, how come you don't know how to get an appointment with a Chief Minister?"

After Facing a huge backlash for his sexiest comment, Mr Patil tried covering his statement by saying, "It is in my nature to respect women. What I meant was she should learn to live in rural areas where there are sayings like this. I respect Supriya-tai and we talk often," the BJP leader said. However the NCP has slammed the comments, even asking Mr Patil to "learn making chapatis so he can help his wife at home". "He has no right to speak like that. He has no right to speak that way about my sister," said Deputy Maharashtra Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Ms Sule's cousin. Ms Sule's husband Sadanand Sule posted on Twitter saying, “I am proud of my wife who is a homemaker, mother and a SUCCESSFUL politician, one amongst many other hardworking and talented women in India…this is an insult to all women…,”  As usual political parties instead of making changes in India for development they are fighting.
