Central Govt Issues Strict Rules on TV Shows

Government tells TV Channels to not show inappropriate things during the many kids dance shows on TV

The Information and Broadcasting MInistry (I&B) has said that they are concerned with the amount of dance based reality shows on TV that portray young children in suggestive and age-inappropriate, and such acts have a negative impact on children at young ages. The ministry has asked to not show children in such acts.

All TV Channels are expected to follow these rules place by the Cable Television Networks Regulation Act, 1995 created by the I&B Ministry, According to the rules, no programme should abuse and take advantage of children. The programmes meant for children should not contain any bad language or explicit scenes of violence.
