On 19th December 2019, thousands of people gathered at the August Kranti Maidan. This protest was against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB). People from all religions gathered the protest against the CAB that is allegedly divisive on the basis of Religion.Students, senior citizens and people from all walks of life had gathered. The entire protest was extremely peaceful and smoothly managed. Everyone was shouting strong slogans against PM Modi and Home Minister AMit Shah. These Indian citizens were demanding the revocation of CAB as it is unconstitutional and against the secular fabric of India.
