Bollywood Cancels Many Films Due to Coronavirus

The rising scare over the novel coronavirus outbreak seems to be making a cameo of sorts in Bollywood, affecting planned shoots of several major movies.

All over the world there is a lot of panic about the coronavirus.The coronavirus outbreak has so far claimed over 3,600 lives, globally. Now  it has affected Bollywood as well. Planned shoots of several big budget movies which were supposed to start shooting in Rajasthan have been cancelled.The shooting of Karan Johar's grand film Takht was supposed to start in Jaipur and Jaisalmer. However, the increasing panic over coronavirus forced the makers to stall the shoot.

Meanwhile, the filming of Akshay Kumar's first-period movie Prithviraj, which was scheduled to start in Rajasthan, has also been canceled.The horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was supposed to be shot in Rajasthan but now has been moved to Lucknow. This is because 16 Italians touring Rajasthan and their Indian driver had tested positive for the virus.Recently, Deepika Padukone cancelled her visit to the Paris Fashion Week in France, due to increased coronavirus cases in the European region.There are many rumors that many filmmakers are considering shifting the release dates of their upcoming movies, fearing a drop in business.
