BJP Manifesto 2024 Highlights

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) kicked off its election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with the unveiling of its manifesto, titled "Modi's Guarantee 2024," on April 14th, 2024, at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with party leaders JP Nadda, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh, presided over the event, presenting a comprehensive vision for the country's future.

Crafted under the leadership of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, the BJP's Election Manifesto Committee comprising 27 members laid out a roadmap for governance based on extensive consultations and feedback from citizens, totaling over 15 lakh recommendations.

- Free electricity for poor households under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.

Women Empowerment (Nari Shakti):

- Empowering three crore rural women to become 'lakhpati' through collective action and skill development.

- Integrating women self-help groups (SHGs) into the service sector and enhancing market access for their enterprises.

- Facilitating women's participation in the workforce and ensuring their health and well-being.

Youth Empowerment (Yuva Pidhi):

- Implementation of laws to prevent paper leaks in government recruitment exams.

- Establishment of new institutions of higher learning and upgrading existing ones.

Support for Farmers (Kisan Samman):

- Continued support under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

- Strengthening PM Fasal Bima Yojana and increasing Minimum Support Price (MSP) for major crops.

Senior Citizens Welfare:

National Development (Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas):

- Focused healthcare approach for tribal areas and promotion of infrastructure development along borders.

- Strategic implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and aim to make India the world's third-largest economy.

Good Governance (Surakshit & Prosperous Bharat):

- Nationwide implementation of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and working towards 'One Nation, One Election.'
