Bihar Man Asks Loan from CIA to Assassinate PM Modi: 3 Arrested

A Bihar man was arrested for allegedly plotting a threat against Narendra Modi via a hack linked to the Central Intelligence Agency, shocking locals with his unexpected background.

In late 2025, intelligence agencies flagged a possible threat targeting Narendra Modi, prompting swift action by police.

Following the lead, authorities tracked down and arrested three individuals, including Aman Kumar, also known as Aman Tiwari, who was taken into custody on April 8 from Buxar District.

According to investigators, Aman allegedly hacked into a public portal linked to the Central Intelligence Agency and sent a message demanding money, claiming he could act against the Prime Minister within 22 days. However, some reports suggest he may have instead threatened to breach security for financial gain.

Police seized his laptop and electronic devices, now under forensic examination, while his room has been sealed. Officials believe he was highly active online and may have acted alone, possibly driven by financial motives.

Despite his alleged actions, Aman’s background appears ordinary—his father is a priest, and locals describe him as quiet and unassuming. His family claims they had no knowledge of his activities, stating he was taken away without explanation.

Interestingly, this isn’t his first brush with the law—he was previously arrested in 2022 for threatening to hack Kolkata Airport.

The case has left his village stunned, raising questions about how someone seemingly ordinary could be linked to such a serious plot.
