Bengaluru has World’s Worst Traffic Jam

TomTom, a leading in-vehicle navigation company has released its annual Traffic Index which ranks Bengaluru with the world’s worst traffic jam.

Everyone hates to be stuck in traffic. Year after year, traffic is getting worse in the major cities of the world. In the last 10 years the number of cars in the world has increased a lot. Even though the number of cars sold in India is way less than that in the United States, or China, Indians are the ones facing the worst traffic jams. 

TomTom, a leading in-vehicle navigation company has released its annual Traffic Index (which ranks countries with the most traffic jams to the least). It covers 416 cities. 

As per the data from TomTom, India is suffering from the worst traffic congestion in the world. Bengaluru ranks first in the Traffic Index with the worst traffic congestion. Out of the top ten cities with worst traffic jams, 4 cities are from India.Which are Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.
