As per reports, Baba Ramdev has purchased a new powerful Land Rover Defender 130 SUV worth Rs 1.5 crore. A video shows Ramdev first inspecting the car and then sitting behind the wheel. The car also has other occupants. After waiting briefly, Ramdev takes the car for a spin wearing the iconic wooden slippers that he is often seen wearing. The vehicle looks fresh out of the showroom as it does not have registration plates on it. The Land Rover Defender 130 was launched in India earlier this year and Baba Ramdev has opted for Sedona Red colour, which is only limited to the biggest version.
An automobile page on Instagram claimed that Ramdev did not make the purchase and the car was rather gifted to him by Divyanshu Kesarwani, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) of Patanjali Group. Land Rover Defender 130 price in India starts at Rs 1.3 crore. Before Defender 130, Baba Ramdev used to travel in a Mahindra XUV 700 SUV. He was seen riding a motorcycle on several occasions.
