Aryan Khan's bail application was rejected by a court in Mumbai on Friday, October 8, 2021. He has been sent to the Arthur Road jail for 14 days. Along with Aryan Khan, five other men arrested in the case too were sent to the Arthur Road jail, while two women were sent to Byculla women's prison. A video has gone viral on the internet, alleging how Gauri Khan was inconsolable and broke down after Aryan was sent to prison. 

However, the video is fake and the person is not Gauri but Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani. Both Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri have not been spotted at court or the NCB office. The only person who has been representing the Khan family, visiting Aryan Khan in custody, and attending his court hearings is SRK's manager Pooja Dadlani. Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan were not able to appeal for bail again as the court was closed on 9th October as it was the 2nd saturday of the month. They will file an appeal for bail today. 

This is why Aryan will have to stay in Arthur Road jail in a quarantine cell for 7 days. Although his RT-PCR report has come out to be negative, the jail authorities are taking precautions to avoid spread of COVID infection in the Jail. Arthur Road jail has many dangerous criminals and is known for its unsanitary conditions. 

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan have not spoken to the media since Aryan was arrested in the drug case by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). A close friend of Shah Rukh has said that Shah Rukh is “suffering from grief and anger. He is not sleeping and eating much and is just broken like a helpless father."

Another stress for Shah Rukh is that online tutoring company Byju’s has stopped all advertisements featuring its brand ambassador and Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan amid the ongoing investigation against his son Aryan Khan in a drugs case. However, it is not clear if the company has dropped Shah Rukh as its brand ambassador.
