Amit Shah Unveils 54 Feet Hanuman Statue In Gujarat

Home Minister Amit Shah on 6th April 2023 unveiled a 54 feet tall statue of Lord Hanuman at Sarangpur temple in Gujarat’s Botad district.

Hanuman Jayanthi is the festival, which celebrates the birth of Lord Hanuman. It is observed in most of the states of the country. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on 6th April 2023, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti unveiled a 54 feet tall statue of Lord Hanuman at Sarangpur temple in Gujarat’s Botad district. He emphasized the importance of the Sarangpur temple saying that thousands of people visit the temple. Amit Shah attended many other events celebrating the 44th Foundation day of the BJP which is on 6th April. He said, “Today it's a coincidence that it is Hanuman Jayanti as well as BJP Sthapana day. On 6 April 1980, people were making fun of the party but today BJP is the ruling government in various states and at the Center. The party has more than 400 Members of Parliament.” He also recalled many important decisions taken by the Modi government like scrapping of article 370 , triple talak, demonetization etc. He claimed BJP has taken tough decisions for the betterment of the Country.

Meanwhile, devotees across the country participated in prayers at temples, processions and observed long-day fasts to please the lord and seek his blessings. Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath reached Siddheshwar Hanuman Temple in Simaria, MP and seeked the blessings of Hanumanji. Not only father but also his son, Member of Lok Sabha, Nakul Nath showered flowers from a helicopter on the 101–feet idol of Hanumanji at the same temple. 

Amid all the festivities throughout the country, the security forces were maintaining a strict inspection to avoid any violence or mishappenings on the occasion. Strict orders of discipline were also maintained in all the processions that took place.
