Actor Ranveer Singh Buys Rs 119 Crore House in Mumbai

Ranveer and his father Jugjeet Sundersingh Bhavnani have bought two luxury, sea-facing residential units.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been one of the highest-paid and busiest artiste in Hindi film industry.  He recently bought a sea-view luxury quadruplex apartment in a super-premium residential tower Sagar Resham on Bandstand in Mumbai’s plush Bandra locality for Rs 119 crore. It is one of the most expensive deals for a single residential apartment anywhere in the country. Interestingly, apart from being a direct sea-facing property, it is located between Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Galaxy and Shahrukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat on the same stretch. The apartment is spread across the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th floor of the tower. (A 16th floor apartment and a triplex from the 17th to 19th floor). It has a total 11,266 sq ft of carpet area and a 1,300 sq ft exclusive terrace. Sagar Resham building, which has four- and five-bedroom apartments. Property analysts said that the residential apartments would probably be amalgamated to form a quadruplex, combining all the four private units.

As part of the deal, Singh will get exclusive access to a total 19 car parking slots in the building.

The deal is valued at over 1 lakh per sq ft. The transaction was registered on 8 July and total stamp duty of Rs 7.13 crore was paid for the transaction that has been concluded through two separate agreements. Singh has bought the apartment through a firm named Oh Five Oh Media Works LLP that has Ranveer Singh and his father Jugjeet Sunder Singh Bhavnani as Directors.
