Purple Fest 2024’s ‘Purple Experience Zone’ is a must-visit according to us. All the events under this category focus on “experience”. Experiencing the world as a PwD for a better understanding of their lives and PwDs experiencing and exploring the world through different ways & technologies. 

The events happening at Purple Fest 2024 under the ‘Purple Experience Zone’ are:

1. Dialogue in the Dark - highlights the challenges faced by Persons with Blindness by demonstrating their daily challenges & extraordinary abilities.

2. Inclusive Carnival - provides first hand understanding of the daily life interactions of Persons with Neurodiverse Disabilities.

3. Antarchakshu - showcases prominent practical solutions for the challenges of inclusive education through Kindergarten to Post graduation.

4. Inclusive Classroom - highlights the productivity of inclusive education by allowing to observe different inclusive teaching methods live.

5. Human Library - provides better understanding of lifes of PwDs by having Purple ambassadors become ‘human books’ and share their stories (hardships & overcoming challenges).

6. Mouseware Experience - a technological experience that enhances understanding of the daily obstacles faced by People with Upper Limb Disabilities.

7. Towards Inclusion - a fun card game that both entertains and spreads awareness about different disabilities.

8. Sensory Heritage Hub - allows PwDs to explore live tangible replicas of 20 world heritage monuments through touch, audios & visuals. 

9. Inclusive Education - an interactive experience focusing on the advancement of inclusive learning by implementation of adaptive learning tools.

10. NCAHT-ICMR Pavilion - showcases more than 100 assistive technology solutions for people with visual, learning, motor, speech, and hearing disabilities.

11. Experience the Invisible - highlights the importance of the overlooked characteristics of invisible disabilities through engaging activities.
