Odisha Hosts 7th T-20 National Cricket Championship for Deaf

Odisha Deaf Cricket Association (ODCA) is hosting the 7th T-20 National Cricket Championship for Deaf 2023 from 25th September 2023 to 1st October 2023.

Look at this - Odisha Deaf Cricket Association (ODCA) was founded and registered in the year 2021 in Odisha. It is affiliated to the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) Sumit Jain is the President of IDCA. They have been working very closely. ODCA is very happy to host a cricket tournament in Odisha. This is very exciting! At the AGM meeting in West Bengal the ODCA won the bid to host the 7th T-20 National Cricket Championship for Deaf 2023. Huge applause to them!

On 7th May 2023, ODCA conducted an AGM meeting and decided to collaborate with two associations. ODCA collaborated with OCA which is the Odisha Cricket Association and a government entity called the Sports & Youth Services Department. ODCA collaborated with these associations to host the T-20 National Cricket Championship in Odisha. The associations have extended their full support and cooperation. So thankful to them. T-20 National Cricket Championship for the Deaf will be from 25th Septemeber 2023 to 1st October 2023. Teams for 20 states will participate in the highly competitive event. They are all very excited for the 7th T-20 National Cricket Championship. Years back the IDCA hosted a tournament between India, Nepal and Bangladesh. After tough fight, India then won the tournament. 26 amazing cricketer all gathered at Delhi from 21 August 2023 to 25 August 2023. Four coaches judged the players and selected 15 of the best cricketers. A few strong players will be selected from the 7th T-20 National Cricket Championship in Odisha.

A new contingent consisting of players from both the selections will then be sent to Qatar for a cricket tournament on 1st December 2023 to 12th December 2023. The Indian team will face strong international players. Here is some information about ODCA's board members. Bikramjit Mahala - Sign Name - is the President of ODCA. Sagarkanta Senapati - Sign Name - is the General Secretary. Saumya Prasad Mishra - Sign Name - is the Treasurer. Rabindra Kumar Nayak - Sign Name - is the Joint Secretary. Dwiti Mishra - Sign Name - is the Vice Chairman. He is very supportive and encourages cricket.

Here is something very important. Sagarkanta Senapati said that many people coming to watch the 7th T-20 National Cricket Championship in Odisha. Sagarkanta has said that they have already informed the police to take strict actions against violent disruptions during the match.

It is a proud moment for Odisha as it is hosting the tournament for the first time, you can enjoy the match, but do not involve in any violent behaviour.
