Holi, the festival of colors, is a time of great joy and fun for many. It's a Hindu festival celebrated with enthusiasm all over India. But there's one thing about Holi that bothers me – the synthetic colors. These colors are packed with chemicals that can harm our skin and eyes.

But fear not, my friends! There's a solution – organic and natural Holi colors. Yes, you heard it right! And guess what? You can make them at home using simple ingredients you probably already have.

Red Color:

Take some red rose petals and soak them in water for an hour. Then grind them into a fine paste. Mix it with cornflour and let it dry in the sun. Voila! Your red Holi color is ready!

Yellow Color:

Heat a cup of water and add two tablespoons of turmeric powder. Let it boil, then cool down. Add rose water and cornflour. Mix well and sun dry the mixture.

Pink Color:

Grate one or two medium-sized beetroots and mix them with water. Squeeze out the juice and add rose water. Mix it with cornflour and sun dry it.

Blue Color:

Get some Jacaranda or blue Hibiscus flowers. Dry them in shade and grind them into a powder. Add cornflour if needed.

Green Color:

Blend leafy greens like mint, spinach, or fenugreek into a paste. Strain it and mix with cornflour. Sun dry the mixture.

Orange Color:

Sun dry orange peels or soak orange marigold flowers in water. Grind them into a paste and mix with cornflour, rose water, and a bit of turmeric.

Purple Color:

Peel and grind black carrots. Mix with cornflour and sun dry the mixture.
