Germany Declares Hangover an Illness

A German Court has officially declared hangovers to be an illness. This new proclamation will now enable employees to avail sick leave if hungover.

Many of you must be going out to parties with friends where you eat and drink a lot. But the next day you are extremely tired and feel very sick. If you go for a party and have to work the next day, it is even worse. Imagine if you are hungover and you just can’t go to work. What will you tell your boss? It becomes very difficult to ask for a leave. It is even worse if you go to work and your boss shouts at you for being slow at work because of the hangover. These are problems that are very common and we all experience it. 

But people in Germany do not have to face these problems.In Germany, people love to drink beer. Oktoberfest is a famous beer festival held every year in Munich where people drink different types of beer. Beer is germany’s favourite drink. A German court has officially declared that hangovers are an illness. This means that in Germany if people go out to party and are hungover the next day, then they can take a sick leave and rest at home. 

People are very happy with the court's decision and now enjoy drinking beer without worrying about going to work the next day. For those living in India, well drink and party smartly because your boss will not give you a sick leave for a hangover.
