2-Feet Tall Man Asks UP Police to Help Him Find a Wife

Azeem Mansuri a 2-feet tall man has approached the Uttar Pradesh Police to help him find a bride.

Azeem Mansuri is a 26-year-old man who is 2-feet tall. He lives in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli district.

He has been unable to find a bride for himself. He has also lost faith in his family who he thinks are not taking his problem seriously. Since he had no other option, he approached the police in Shamli District. He demanded that the police help him find a match. SHO Niraj Choudhry told him that the police have no role in arranging marriages for people. He said, “We can help if there is a dispute between couples but to find a bride for a man is not our job.”

Contrary to Mansuri's allegations, his family members said that they do want to get him married and were doing everything in their capacity to make it happen. Mansuri's brother Mohammad Naeem said, "someone should be willing to marry him," Naeem added that they have got many proposals including one from Moradabad and that they were planning to travel there to see the woman. Last year, Mansuri went to the Kairana police station seeking help from the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM). He even wrote to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath but got no response. Mansuri claims it is the duty of the police and the government to find him a bride.
